With so much to see and do in Hong Kong it can be tough to decide where to start. Here is a handy list of the top things to see and do in Hong Kong!
The Peak of Hong KongIf there is one thing that Hong Kong is known for, it’s its world class skyline. Up at Victoria peak looking down, it makes the Vancouver skyline look quite uninspired compared to the majesty of Hong Kong before you. The peak can be reached by taking a 120 year old tram up to the top. Plan to be at the top of the peak 30 minutes before sundown and watch the buildings come alive. Hong Kong is a city of ambitions, and where else is that portrayed more accurately than in the ambitiousness of its energetic skyline. View Peak of Hong Kong's Website. |

Temple Street MarketIf shopping is important to you then this is the place to be. Walking around Temple Street Market, I felt as if I had stumbled onto a movie set. The masses of people, the salivating scents coming from the numerous food stalls, and all the numerous requests being shouted in various languages, all make for an intoxicating place to explore. If you like endless rows of markets and carts selling everything from common souvenirs to amazing Hong Kong street food, the Temple Street market is a tourist paradise. Ozone Bar @ The Ritz Carlton (Kowloon side)It is inevitable that you will end up here. I highly recommend you take the opportunity to sip a cocktail at the highest bar in the world. At overwhelming height of 118 stories the Ozone bar is located in the opulent Ritz Carlton hotel. The bar is spectacular on its own with its lavish décor, but it is the stunning view that brings in every curious tourist. The view over Victoria harbor is only described in one word: wow! Come for the view, stay for the tasty drinks. Read more about the Ozone Bar @ The Ritz Carlton. |
