Over at Calgary International Airport they are excited to announce Air Canada's new daily service from Calgary to San Francisco in June 2016, as well as the continuation of existing service between Calgary and Phoenix. Air Canada will also be adding Boeing 787 Dreamliner service on flights from YYC to Tokyo–Narita in Japan, Frankfurt, Germany, and London-Heathrow.

(Calgary, AB) - Calgary International Airport (YYC) has added additional connectivity to U.S. destinations in welcoming new daily service between YYC and San Francisco, California and continuation of existing service between Calgary and Phoenix, Arizona.
“The announcement by Air Canada of the expansion of their U.S. services out of Calgary further strengthens Calgary International Airport’s position as Alberta’s gateway to destinations south of the border”, says Stephan Poirier, Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer for The Calgary Airport Authority. “With the addition of these flights, passengers flying out of YYC can fly non-stop to more than 20 U.S. destinations.”
YYC is welcoming not just new routes from Air Canada, but new aircraft as well.
“We’re also very excited to see the upcoming addition of Boeing 787 Dreamliner service on Air Canada flights out of Calgary to Tokyo–Narita in Japan, Frankfurt, Germany, and London-Heathrow”, says Poirier. “The Dreamliner is the newest aircraft type in Air Canada’s fleet, and the Air Canada 787s will be a great addition to YYC.”
Air Canada’s daily Calgary-San Francisco service will begin in June of 2016, while the airline will continue to link Calgary and Phoenix three times a week. Dreamliner service from Calgary will begin January 2016.
